9:12	Paul Swydan: I believe the answer is that they’re not THAT different, and we had the rights to use FIP before we had the rights to use SIERA, so there wasn’t a huge need to switch, but I feel like Jeff will know better than me on this one.

9:17	Paul Swydan: VMart only caught 5 games last season, so I wouldn’t bank on him getting C eligibility. I would absolutely prefer to have McCann over Gattis, but I think this depends on who your replacement at 1B is if you trade Gonzalez. Gattis isn’t the worst ever.

9:18	Jeff Zimmerman: I would wait a bit on V-Mart. He has some early away interleague games. Wait until then to see if he get C eligibility.

9:19	Paul Swydan: First of all, I don’t think anything he does this year should count towards any HOF campaign that may or may not be mounted on his behalf in the coming years. Second, I figure 300 or fewer PAs.

9:20	Paul Swydan: I think he certainly will stick on the roster, and if he shows that he can hit at all, he’ll be the starter. Ryan Flaherty isn’t standing in his way. They demoted Flaherty to play Alexi Casilla at times last season.

Paul Swydan: Kind of an odd question. Are you asking for what percent of the year, or what are his chances of being the closer at any point during the season? To the former, I’ll say 40-60%, so to the latter, obviously 100%.

Paul Swydan: I have him in our Ottoneu staff league. I got him cheap during a waiver wire auction last year and hung on to him. Not huge expectations because I’m not sure he’ll stay healthy, but I’m confident in putting him out there every time.

I didn’t realize that many people go on this site… anyways, I was wondering about a hypothetical: A team of 9 Miguel Cabrera clones and an average pitching staff. Good news is the offensive output; bad news is the defense. What kind of record would you expect of this team in a 162 game season?
