Don’t really have a post to ask this question on, but I’ve been looking around (Braves Fan here), at Brandon Beachy’s pitch/fx data, and you guys have him throwing a Cutter. Now I’m trying to figure this out, I watch nearly every start and I’ve never seen a cutter, I’ve seen the Fastball, Curve, Change and the Slider (Rarely, because I know I’ve heard Joe Simpson say Braves management didn’t want him throwing it at all while he was in the minors, but Beachy requested to throw it again). Just wondering if maybe its a classification thing? He’s throwing this “cutter” nearly as much as his Fastball, so thought maybe it was just the straight 4-seamer being confused, or even the slider. Any of you fellas tell me?
