Japan Crowdsourcing Followup Part One – My List
Last week, I asked you guys to suggest some players who fit the profile of guys who might do well in Japan. I was hoping I would get 15-20 suggestions, but you guys came up with 38 names. I’m still sorting through the suggestions, so in the meantime I thought I would share the list I started with.
- Jeremy Powell
 - Carlos Torres -> has signed with Yomiuri, but I’m leaving him on because I already had him listed
 - Winston Abreu
 - Robert Coello
 - Eric Hacker -> signed an MLB deal with Minnesota, so this one is wrong
 - Rick Vandenhurk
 - Chris Smith
 - Warner Madrigal
 - Rich Hill
 - Mike Hessman
 - Andy Marte
 - John Lindsey
 - Dan Johnson
 - Bobby Scales
 - Bryan Bullington

My bias here is that I have a tendency toward guys I’ve seen at the Major League level. In my next post I’ll make my picks of who I think the best bets are among your suggestions.
