Crowdsourcing Radio Broadcasters: The First 29 Ballots

Voting for radio broadcasts will end at approximately noon on Sunday.

Here is the 30th, and final, ballot for our radio broadcast crowdsourcing project:
Today’s Notable Games
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh | 19:05 ET ***MLB.TV Free Game***
Unfortunately, today’s free game isn’t particularly intriguing. Of some note, perhaps, is the recent play of Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez. He hit his seventh home run of the season on Thursday at St. Louis, giving him this rather unusual line so far on the season: 74 PA, .257/.297/.614 (.282 BABIP), 147 wRC+. Alavrez has struck out in 32.4% of his plate appearances. He has almost twice as many homers as walks (four), and nearly 50% of his 18 hits have been home runs.
Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: Cincinnati, Barely.
New York AL at Kansas City | 20:10 ET
The Royals currently own the youngest average batter age (26.8) in the majors and the fourth-lowest payroll (ca $61 million), and yet have above-average numbers per wRC+ (103) and WAR (4.3 for batters/fielders as of Thursday, good for 10th overall in majors).
Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: Kansas City?
Milwaukee at San Francisco | 22:15 ET
Zack Greinke (29.2 IP, 81 xFIP-, 1.0 WAR) faces Tim Lincecum (26.2 IP, 94 xFIP-, 0.5 WAR). Of note: both clubs have lost key players of late. San Francisco third baseman Pablo Sandoval is out for four-to-six weeks with a broken hamate bone, Milwaukee first baseman Mat Gamel for the season with a torn ACL. Conor Gillaspie and Brooks Conrad, respectively, should serve as replacements.
Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: San Francisco.
Today’s Complete Schedule
Here’s the complete schedule for all of today’s games, with our very proprietary watchability (NERD) scores for each one. Pitching probables and game times aggregated from MLB.com and RotoWire. The average NERD Game Score for today is 5.0.

* = Fewer than 20 IP, NERD at discretion of very handsome author.
Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
i believe the NERD system needs to be adjusted to take into account Bruce Chen.
A Bruce Chen adjustment specifically for being Bruce Chen?
It could be a generic “Chen” adjustment, to include Baltimore’s Wei-Yin if you feel like being generous…
If Bruce Chen threw a knuckleball NERD would break.
just have a separate metric for Klaassen NERD (KNERD). scores as follows: base score of 0, +10 if your name is Bruce Chen. -10 for imposters such as Wei-Yin.
I agree, but I’m not sure if it should be a bonus or a penalty and if the adjustment should be more or less depending on whether he is scheduled to pitch or just in the ballpark.
I bet if they play each other, Chen will give Chen a little chin music.
Will Chen chin Chen’s chin in return for Chen chinning Chen’s chin then?
