I can’t help but think of the minor leaguers and their pay. Is it possible for players to attempt to sue in state courts citing each singular states minimum wage laws? It’s not perfect but if one state judge cited with the players it might set precedence for a return to federal court.
In his recent article on minor-league pay, Nathaniel Grow wrote, “Minor-league players may still be able to sue under state minimum-wage and overtime laws, although doing so would likely necessitate dozens of cases, substantially increasing litigation costs.”
