I’ve listened to about 600-700 EW episodes and F.P. Santangelo gets my vote for best EW guest. Outstanding.

Boras begins with maybe the most “old rich white guy” metaphor this side of horse jumping (racing sail boats) and has traded it in for something more Tom Clancy-esque– and maybe less classist, though probably equally male and white (submarine races). That it is completely ridiculous and would never happen is like lighting a cigarette with a sparkler. Now Bryce Harper feels sneaky and powerful, like an earthquake or giant squid. He should have talked about how the submarines fought a giant squid. That would add a couple hundred million to the Harper contract.
