The topic of the sun being swallowing Earth is still being debated.

As the sun grows in the size, it is possible that it will begin to lose up to 33% of its mass. Because of this lose in mass, both Venus and Earth could escape due to the weakening effects of the Sun’s gravity. However, I believe depending on the Roche limit of the expanding Sun, some of this mass loss could still be “around the sun” causing tidal forces to eventually swallow the Earth.

Granted we’ll all we dead unless we migrate to other planets. Titan could reach habitable conditions because of Sun expansion. I’m still waiting for Generation Ships to be built.
