I think I have something to say about the lack of legitimate bat-first 1B prospects.
More seriously, I think Newman is right in saying 1B prospects are down league-wide, but I do think Singleton is one prospect that you can hang your hat on as a legitimate impact player at the position.
A left-handed major league pitcher with an elite change-up, and a former running back in the NFL? Quite a talent he is.
