Fine. Be angy. but 24 hours later he’s still blaming his coach for being “stupid.” Learn how to slide and stop blaming others for your failings/bad luck/whatever you want to call it.
Josh Hamilton recovered from severe drug addiction. I don’t think “maturity” is something people should be killing him over. He’s overcome a lot, he’s allowed to slip up now and again. He shouldn’t have handled it the way he did, but it’s not like he pulled a Milton Bradley in his trouble making prime and showed up wearing a “F*** Ron Washington” shirt.

Ike Davis at 24 seems comparable to Lyle Overbay at 27,28, and 29. Should we expect no improvement from Davis over the next three years? Is Ike’s upside Lyle Overbay or is he just hitting Overbay’s prime numbers as a 24 year old?

Dave, could you clarify your thoughts on lineup positions? Heyward batting 6th loses ab’s (over 5th, 4th, etc) and therefore production for the player. And if there is any batter in the top 5 worse than him it hurts the team. And I just have to think anybody batting ahead of Albert Pujols or Votto will get more fastballs and better pitches to hit. and…and…and…. If your thoughts are correct why not bat Scutoro first. Again, please clarify your thoughts.
Josh Hamilton. A big jerk, or the biggest jerk?
maybe not the smartest move, but its in his best interest to stay healthy with his contract year coming up. i think i would be angry too.
