Tonight as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays face off in Game 2 of the World Series, the FanGraphs crew will be watching along on our Twitch channel, and you’re invited.

Let’s see, I will be finishing dinner around the first pitch with my usual ice cream during the 2nd inning, that will be followed by some fresh apple cider, and maybe a chocolate chip cookie or two or three, throughout the game. That should work.

I just want to say that the idea that a team that throws a bullpen game in Game 2 of the World effing Series cannot possibly be the “most-talented” team that Mookie Betts has played for. I don’t even need to check the 2018 Red Sox b-ref page to know that. What I do remember about 2018 is that the top four teams in base-runs were NYY, HOU, LAD and BOS and BOS plowed through the other three in the playoffs. BOS, NYY and HOU all had 100+ wins fer chrissakes! LAD 2020 is clearly a good team but let’s be real, Mookie.
