Good grief – I saw Arquimedes Pozo play rookie ball in, what, 1991 or something?
From my book: “Arquimedez” is a Spanish variant of “Archimedes,” the Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer. “Archimedes” is regarded as one of the leading scientists in classical antiquity. “Pozo” is the Spanish word for “(water) well.”
On July 28, 1996, in only his third game with the Red Sox, Pozo hit a grand slam off Twins relief pitcher “Everyday Eddie” Guardado. It was the only home run of Pozo’s career. (The Red Sox still lost that game,9-8).

Any chance this podcast will be available on Stitcher? So far it hasn’t shown up on there, but that’s where I listen to FanGraphs Audio and Effectively Wild and it’d be nice to have them in one place.
