Custom Teams Feature Updated

The new Custom Teams feature will replace the My Team and My Projections feature and now have the ability to create as many different team lists as you’d like, all while utilizing the existing leaderboards and projection pages.

If you’ve been using the old My Teams feature, your team will already appear in your custom team list as “My Team”.

To get to your team once it’s created, just click on the Leaders or Projections link.

I’m unable to edit, look at leaders or projections once my team is created. I keep getting:

You have encountered an unexpected error. If the problem persists, please fill out a contact form.

Thank you for your patience.

Is the feature fully functional right now?

I’m a new user and I’m getting the same error when I try to use the Edit feature.

I was using the “My Team” feature last year until the link disappeared and I could no longer find my team. Today I named a new team and made a list of players. When I clicked on the “leaders” link in an attempt to get some stats, I was taken to my 2011 team. The new team seems to be gone now. I’m probably the only one who wasn’t born with an instinctive understanding of how these things work, but just in case I’m not alone, some instruction would be nice.

Maybe it’s me doing something wrong, but is there a way to add players to your custom team without making a new one all the time? Is it the same as the custom reports?

No worries, I was just making sure I was doing it right. Thanks!

Thanks for all the work you do on this site. It’s amazing stuff!

My preference, if it means anything, is that I would like to have my team overwrite when I make a change. Creating a new team each time seems a bit more cumbersome. I’m curious whether I’m in the minority, or if I speak for many others.

Well, however you guys do it, I’ll go with the flow. But I did like how player addition/removal was with the old My Team structure. It seemed simpler. And, yes thanks, I did know that I wouldn’t need to re-enter my entire team. I guess I can simply adjust to the new format and move on. I’ll get used to it. Thanks!!!

Sorry Dark Overlord, I only just saw this. Drop down would be a nice solution.

Thanks! I was viewing old stats (leaders) and wondered if it was possible to split season by first and second half of the year, or before and after all star break.

This is awesome! Is there any way to add totals for the whole team at the bottom?

Is there a way to turn Pitchers OFF but have all other positions on in the Batting area?

I can’t add one player to my roster without creating an entirely new team in the process. Is there a way to update and edit a team? Of note, I am clicking on “edit” and adding the player to the list. If I then hit “create custom player list” it creates an entirely new team, which seems redundant when I’m just adding one player and subtracting another.

I am having a hard time with this as well. I want to update a roster by adding and subtracting some players and it did not seem to work. I kept trying to use edit and the deleting players but they kept showing up in the leader boards and then back on the roster. I ended up deleting the team to start over..added a player and saved…and now can not add or subtract other players.

Help! Thanks!

Is it possible to populate the same saved custom report with different saved custom teams? I have a number of different team configurations (specifically, different fantasy rosters) I want to look at with a specific custom report. I have my custom report all set up nicely, but I can’t figure out how to easily import those custom team rosters without entering the players one-by-one after the custom report’s been set. Am I missing something?
