A Fact Regarding Cleveland, The City
Moses Cleaveland famously declared, upon founding the city which now bears his name, “I guess this’ll do!”

A Fact Regarding Cleveland, The Baseball Team

A Fact Regarding Cleveland, The City

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast
Per the results of our crowdsourcing project from the 2011-2012 offseason, FanGraphs readers prefer Cleveland Radio (link).

Other Notable Games (Including MLB.TV Free Game)
Cincinnati at St. Louis | 13:45 ET ***MLB.TV Free Game***
Right-hander Homer Bailey pitches for the Reds. He’s been excellent thus far. To wit: 5 GS, 32.0 IP, 25.4% K, 7.1% BB, 56.3% GB, 3.16 SIERA, 78 xFIP-, 0.7 WAR. “Is he doing something different?” one wonders. Perhaps throwing a bit harder, indicates his PITCHf/x data.

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: St. Louis Radio.

Houston at New York AL | 20:10 ET
David Phelps makes his first start of the season, in place of an injured Ivan Nova. Phelps has been totally able in relief so far (17.0 IP, 85 xFIP-). Also of note with regard to this game: the certain knowledge that MVPs of the Heart, both Robbie Grossman and Corban Joseph, could appear at any moment.

Readers’ Preferred Broadcast: Houston Television.

Bauer’s lack of walks in the minors can be attributed to AAA batters being more likely to swing out of the zone, correct? I fully expect to see him walk four straight again tonight and then write a rap song about the Ump cramping his style and his strikezone.
