Eno Sarris Baseball Chat — 12/20/12
With a phone full of pictures of pitchers' fingers, strange beers, and his two toddler sons, Eno Sarris can be found at the ballpark or a brewery most days. Read him here, writing about the A's or Giants at The Athletic, or about beer at October. Follow him on Twitter @enosarris if you can handle the sandwiches and inanity.
Should the Mets make a play for Justin Upton? Who would you deal?
1:45 Eno Sarris:
Bill James, on our site, has him at 3.70/1.35 with a K per inning, and even though I told y’all to be more conservative than him, it is a pitcher not a hitter, and I’ll take the under on those numbers (and the K/IP).
So, taking the under means you expect the ERA and WHIP to be over (ERA/WHIP above, and K9 below, the projections)?
