I’ve read something along the lines that there is no conclusive evidence of a drop-off after someone is off PEDs but you would think there should be since there was a reason they took them in the first place.

Eno Sarris: In there I try to look at what physics says. Because physics is pretty sure that steroids does change on-field performance. And we really don’t know when people ‘stopped’ taking the drugs, even if they got caught. So even though physics says Braun’s HR total should reduce to 18-25 or so, we don’t know. He could just find a different drug.

Eno Sarris: I drafted last night in a 15-teamer with #11 and took Yu and hated it. I hated the options left to me at 11 — Cano went 10th — but looking back, looks like Edwin Encarnacion was the best bet. Unless you really think Harper is a first rounder.

Eno Sarris: In a one-catcher league with an MI slot, it’s Gyorko by far IMO. Two-catcher, Lucroy zooms up. I love Werth, but you have to recognize his age.

Why do some experts categorize Stanton as a super star type player and have Bruce in the category below. Bruce is only 2 years younger. Better K rate, line drive rate, swing and miss rate, contact rate. Stanton has the advantage in HR/FB. Bruce is also a better fielder.

I think I’d try for Cano/Encarnacion, though it’s too bad none of them are power/speed combos. Cutch/Encarnacion might be a better mix if it’s possible. I love me some Kipnis, maybe 13 is too early tho.
