Eno Sarris: I don’t think that’s enough. Because of his plate discipline, five toolsyness, and top-ten status, you might be able to push Polanco’s bust rate down to 25%.

Eno Sarris: Gausman’s lack of a breaker concerns me. Stroman’s homers do a bit, but I think he’ll figure it out.

Eno Sarris: there’s something I like about Rendon’s real-life swing better, but in fantasy, Dozier’s speed will provide a big boost even if he doesn’t improve the BABIP and batting average.

Eno Sarris: No, but Tim Hudson disagrees. I’m not going to do that though I’m not going to break out one name. There might be something to this idea, that if you’re going to get TJ, you’re going to get it early and often and if not you might never.

Eno Sarris: I go for some more high-reward pickups around the edges and see if I can spot a sell-low. There’s still time.

Can he produce what he’s pacing? Somewhere in 80-90 runs, 30 homers, 100 rbi, 15 steals, .290-300? 900+ ops?

Eno Sarris: I never stopped believing. I think the batting average may go down in the future, he has a lot of swing and miss in his game. And health might be an issue. But he’s great.

Eno Sarris: No patience, iffy defense, no standout tool, no saber standout tool. I like the Mets and I think they should trade him before he’s only a third baseman. But! I do think his approach is under-rated. Spray line drives and reap the BABIP.

As a BoSox fan, i am 0% concerned with him being called up now – that type of hype isn’t my thing. But I do not want the bosox to make him a phillie for lee, for example – and the reason being is that I see him as being an ELITE mlb player, top 25 guy in league, within the next few years. Eno Sarris: I think you’ll get 15-20 from them tops. Stolen bases drop off so quickly. We had a piece on them from Zimm — aging SBs just as a stat — and they disappear quickly.

Eno Sarris: well there’s maybe a bit more mitigating circumstances surrounding the personnel at first base (harder to cut some of those guys) and the fact that Singleton’s game has been up and down in the minors and his new K% could take some time to solidify and all that… you’re right.

Eno Sarris: Betts is in way better bust buckets other than his prospect ranking, which I think will change. So different. Baez big swing, bad discipline, more power. Betts less exciting HR/SB stats, but BA/OBP should be way better. And floor way higher.

Eno Sarris: I was using the pitch type values on the team level and I’m not sure that’s a good idea. Those values only measure what happened on those pitches and miss out on context. But maybe on the team level? The Jays were mediocre against FB, Kluber has mediocre FB, and Kluber Kluberized them.
