Phil Hughes K/BB makes me feel like Eno taking grip pics.

12:01
Eno Sarris: I even took grip pics of Phil Hughes, to complete the circle.

stream bauer @Min tomorrow?

12:01
Eno Sarris: That’s a good one.

How many Twitter followers does one need before tweets that aren’t directed at another user are worth posting?

12:01
Eno Sarris: 20? 50? why not?

12:01
Comment From Pale Hose
Eno. I want to get back into roto after a hiatus. I remember the Rotographs crew doing a bunch of prep/strategy articles last winter. Is there a convenient way to access those without searching for each article? Also, any recs on finding a league?

12:03
Eno Sarris: I’ll tag them with a tag so you can find them on the bottom right of the blog. Finding a league… you could claim an existing ottoneu team, so you don’t have to do the crazy draft. I think there’s a board for finding ottoneu people too. Facebook/twitter/your office for finding a league too?

12:03
Comment From THE average sports fan
I have Colome in a dynasty league. He has pitched pretty well in September. Have any hope for him?

12:03
Eno Sarris: I’m terrified for him. He missed the strike zone six times by more than a foot and a half in a good start. Good pitches, no idea where they are going.

12:03
Comment From Marty
Hey Eno. Where can I find whiff leaders by pitch?

12:04
Eno Sarris: When we post them! I’ll argue to appelman about making that leaderboard because I love that info.

12:04
Comment From Desperate for Saves
More likely to vulture a save A. Sanchez or W. Davis?

12:04
Eno Sarris: Sanchez. Trying to make room for him in one league where I’m running out of starts.

12:04
Comment From White Elephant
How much weight is there to the argument that the A’s collapse is due to the loss of Cespedes?

12:05
Eno Sarris: A tiny bit. I was worried at the time that the offense could regress and could actually use a one-dimensional power threat. Then the offense regressed and could actually use an overrated one-dimensional power threat.

12:05
Comment From Looking for Stats
Is there a tool to look at how a team performed vs a LHP for the last 30 days?

12:05
Eno Sarris: You have to choose between splits on our leaderboards, so I dunno.

12:05
Comment From THE average sports fan
Is Carlos Carrasco a top 40 SP for 2015?

12:05
Eno Sarris: I’d rather by him as a sleeper in the 4/5 range than pay top 50 prices for him. I do like him, have for a long time.

12:05
Comment From Double Simcoe
With the lead in a save situation in this weekend’s series vs. Kansas City, Detroit has to go with Soria and not Nathan, right???

12:06
Eno Sarris: It’s gotta be coming. “Every game counts” is as much an argument for Soria as Nathan at this point. Nathan hasn’t even looked good in his clean slates, all sweaty and full-county.

12:06
Comment From jocephus

I see your schwartz is as big as mine, Lone Star.

12:06
Comment From Ronnie
Is Taijuan Walker trustworthy against the Astros tomorrow night? Championship week and I could use some K’s.

12:07
Eno Sarris: We’ll discuss streamers on the cast tomorrow. But if you need Ks, he’s preferable over the slightly safer Gausman.

12:07
Comment From Marty
How would you rank Rizzo, Encarnacion, Freeman relative to one another?

12:07
Eno Sarris: Youth makes me put Rizzo first, Edwin’s power puts him second. I think Freeman might hit 30 one year, maybe, but will average 23-26 most years.

12:07
Comment From hscer
actual most important question if Scotland becomes independent: will the remaining U.K. need a new flag?

12:08
Eno Sarris: They’ll be all alone. England and Wales. Although the England plus Wales flags pretty much makes the UK flag.

12:08
Comment From AL Pitching Coach
Good day, Sir Eno! If the two categories most important to you were W and K, and you only had one start to play with, would you go with Kuroda at home to Toronto or Gausman home to Boston tomorrow night? Thanks so much!!!

12:09
Eno Sarris: Wow. I think Gausman. Boston offense scares me less.

12:09
Comment From Double Simcoe
What’s your confidence level in starting Dickey @ NYY today. He’s been good lately! But that’s not a good park for him

12:09
Eno Sarris: Lower than all names we’ve discussed so far.

12:09
Comment From Guest
in that case this is for my Bluejays

12:09
12:09
Comment From Pennsy
Is it wrong of me to root against the A’s because I think the league’s obsession with Moneyball concepts is simply a bandage over the large economic disparity in baseball and the unfairness it propagates? Every big market team in the US wants Oakland to succeed so they they can believe small-market teams really can be successful.

12:09
Eno Sarris: YOU NEED ME UP ON TOP OF THAT DIVISION

12:10
Comment From Vic Romano
Where would you put Betts’ keeper value, considering the question marks (team and/or position) about where he’ll play?

12:10
Eno Sarris: It’s lowered. Cespedes and Castillo seem like virtual locks for two OF positions, and then you’ve Craig, Betts, and Victorino fighting for two spots. Didn’t even mention Nava, who might be done.

12:10
Comment From Fish
Cruisin’ to another fantasy title and $900. Today is a good day.

12:11
Eno Sarris: Looks like I could win three or four, which is more than I thought this year. Was 15 out in June in a roto money league, now I’m five up.

12:11
Comment From Marty
Is Mike Piazza a fair comp if Kyle Schwarber can stick at catcher?

12:12
Eno Sarris: Lot of talk that they’ll move him off catcher to get him to the bigs sooner. That sounds familiar. Piazza dealt with that his whole career. But I won’t give him Piazza’s bat yet.

12:12
Comment From a gray day for the As
What do you think Sonny Gray needs to tip the scales toward him becoming a full-fledged ace? A reliable third pitch? Or does he just need to walk fewer batters?

12:12
Eno Sarris: I think those things are intertwined. If he had a changeup he trusted, he wouldn’t walk as many lefties.

12:13
Comment From Moose is the Hunter
Article request: way too early keeper and re draft rankings for next year. Pretty please with some Tasty Moose Drool on top.

12:13
Eno Sarris: We’ll do retro rankings, and our early ranks should come in January. Earlier than that?

12:13
Comment From Ceetar
With deGrom, Wheeler and Harvey, will the Mets even yield enough balls in play to worry about fielding a shortstop?

12:14
Eno Sarris: I did think about that the other day. If Flores can be routine, keep his K% good and show above league average power… why sign Jed Lowrie to do that without the upside.

12:14
Comment From Kris
H2H is so hard. Hit .330 on the week last week, now .217 in the semfinals 🙁

12:14
Eno Sarris: I like two-week finals for this reason.

12:14
Comment From James
Any predictions for this weekend’s big KC-DET series?

12:14
Eno Sarris: Woe.

12:15
Comment From Vic
Can to offer a 3 pack of pitcher and hitters who might turn in a somewhat unexpected Brantley or Kluber year in 2015?

12:15
Eno Sarris: I have to do more research, but based on multiple pitches with some velocity, there’s Randall Delgado and Jarred Cosart. Hitter? That’ll take some more time.

12:15
Comment From Kris
Start Erlin or Kendrick in Petco tonight? Or both?

12:16
Eno Sarris: Erlin. Phillies lineup not so good v LHP. (Not so good in general too)

12:16
Comment From Vic
Chance the Orioles defeat the Tigers? Royals?

12:16
Eno Sarris: All on their pitchers. And I don’t even know which one to point to for sleeper postseason ace status.

12:17
Comment From Hrkac Circus
A’s still at 94.8% odds, A’s get Texas, Philly, Angels, then Texas again. M’s get Angels, Astros, Jays, and Angels again. Royals get a bunch of AL Central garbage teams, so they seem like a pretty likely WC. What I’m trying to say is stay strong A’s fans, you’ll get to see Bud Selig ignore the existence of your team in the postseason yet again.

12:17
Eno Sarris: Yeah but A’s gotta beat the bad teams. Some horrifying losses where nothing, not the D, not the pen, not the offense, nothing looks good.

12:17
Comment From Double Simcoe
why you gotta be so luuude? (…Sorry.)

12:17
Comment From Herek Dolland
I love Derek Holland!!!

12:17
Comment From Bobby Blownilla
Thanks for the tip on Jordy Mercer a couple weeks ago. He’s been a great fill in. Now it’s just about keeping my mouth shut toward my leaguemates so I don’t jinx my lead…

12:18
Eno Sarris: dudelude

12:18
Comment From Kevin Burkhardt
So I have this question for the booth, how much will you miss me? Back to you Gare.

12:18
Eno Sarris: Just a pretty face.

12:18
Comment From Vic Romano
Pick one guy to build your fantasy roster around….Harper, Machado, Harvey, Fernandez

12:18
Eno Sarris: Um. Not going to pick a pitcher. Harper.

12:18
Comment From Sha
Eno’ is Eno’! How do you feel about Saves+Holds replacing Saves in a 5×5 H2H dynasty league? Chasing saves is fun/frustrating but holds provide value to a larger subset of relievers.

12:19
Eno Sarris: I like it. I know people hate the fact that it’s adding one ‘garbage’ stat to another, but the only other choice is doing away with both and using K9 and that devalues starters a bit. It is a choice though.

12:19
Eno Sarris: (and in practice, using K9 does weird stuff. like it actually makes top pitchers more valuable while devaluing solid pitchers like Cashner)

12:19
Comment From Marty
Can Kyle Hendricks continue to perform well with his stuff or will we see him fail next year under a larger sample size?

12:20
Eno Sarris: The velocity makes me homer-nervous. And the K9 upside is not there. So he’s a low ceiling guy with undetermined floor.

12:20
Comment From Art Vandelay
Matt Duffy has Duffman on the knob of his bat!

12:20
Eno Sarris: He said he had to step out of the box before his game-winning hit the other day because his back leg was shaking. Love rookies.

12:20
Comment From Sirras One
Dave wrote an article a few weeks ago about how second-half momentum doesn’t predict post-season success. That in mind, what should we expect from the A’s now?

12:21
Eno Sarris: They built themselves a little more for the postseason in the middle of the regular season, it could get better for them when the four/five guys are power arms in pen.

12:21
Comment From Scott
Is there a more telling example of how little fans actually know vs how much they think they do than complaining about minor league affiliation switches?

12:22
Eno Sarris: After talking about Nashville a while, I think it’s an interesting move. They shuttle guys up and down more than many/most, but they picked a park that’s far away and not in the PCL.

12:22
Comment From Art Vandelay
Would you rather stream Bauer @ MIN or Santiago vs Texas?

12:22
Eno Sarris: BAuer.

12:22
Comment From moved around a lot
Just finished wedding budget for booze. Shiner for my Texas fiancé is unavoidable. Which five should I choose if I want to showcase my hometowns of Seattle Albuquerque and Los Angeles?

12:23
Eno Sarris: Can’t speak too much on Seattle, but if it’s me, I’m having El Segundo Hop Tanker at my wedding if it’s possible. Golden Road more accessible but more meh in my mind.

12:24
Comment From Seth Smith
what kind of numbers do you expect from rusney castillo next season?

12:25
Eno Sarris: I probably won’t have many shares. I have one in a keeper league, might sell it. I’ll watch him some more, but the translations were much more like Alex Guerrero than Puig/Cespedes. So — feel free to call me an idiot next year if I’m wrong — I’d predict .250/.310/.400 right now, with some speed. maybe 15/25 in hr/sb? it’s good, not star.

12:25
Comment From Marlo
Any insight into how Mike Fiers is so dominating? Whats so wierd is that he did this once beofre 2 years ago. What happened in between?

12:26
Eno Sarris: He’s always had a great change / curve combo, but the fastball is no good. Maybe he tried pitching low in the zone and then everyone hit all the homers, and now he’s mixing it up with high in the zone? He has a riseball. It just goes 88. Bad fastball guy.

12:26
Comment From Bruce
Price check on Almanac beers. New to New york, they are 12$ for a bomber of the sours. What are they out west?

12:26
Eno Sarris: $11 for a little sour, not a bomber.

12:27
Comment From Dan
Teach me something new about stats / FanGraphs website today

12:27
Eno Sarris: You can use the game log page on every player to find your own splits with whatever start and end dates you want to use.

12:27
Comment From Hamilton Porter
Will Joc Pederson get 500 AB next season?

12:28
Eno Sarris: Hard to bet on that, but it certainly looks like Ethier is on his way out and that team is looking for a centerfielder. To my mind, Puig is that CF though.

12:28
Comment From Alex
Eno, last spot on my keeper list: Flores, Nimmo, Daniel Norris or Brandon Finnegan?

12:28
Eno Sarris: Flores or Norris. I like Norris a lot, but he’s a pitcher, it might depend on the rest of your roster.

12:28
Comment From Pennsy
Second Wild Card has been a success, right? Athletics falling off their division lead to require a play-in, while Seattle has battled a strong division to potentially earn a spot in that play-in, have both been really compelling stories this year.

12:28
Eno Sarris: Make it a three-game series by cutting spring training some and I’m on board.

12:28
Comment From Guest
liriano or cole in a one game playoff?

12:28
Eno Sarris: Both.

12:29
Comment From Bag of Farts
World Series predictions?

12:29
Eno Sarris: I’ll take Nationals versus As because that’s what came out of my demented head piece.

12:29
Comment From Fish
I have a feeling that you’re not getting Carrasco as a sleeper. More helium than a goddamn amusement park.

12:30
Eno Sarris: Totally could happen. But am I going to pay more than $10 for a guy that everyone called a head case with bad command two months ago? I might just be happy with my three keeper shares.

12:30
Comment From Marlo
Mchugh has really gone nuts on the league this season. He’ll be ranked higher than Keuchel next season right?

12:30
Eno Sarris: K upside means probably. I’d give him a higher health risk with all those breakers, but it’s hard to factor that into rankings correctly.

12:31
Comment From Old Bay
Do you know anything about this Christian Walker guy the O’s just called up?

12:31
Eno Sarris: Something interesting about him, but he won’t see regular time until late next year at earliest, and his K rate and power could go either way in bigs.

12:31
Comment From Freddi
You liking Pollock in COL this weekend, hitting in the 3-hole too? Pollock @ COL or Heyward vs Mets?

12:32
Eno Sarris: Pollock gets a lefty Sunday I think, so I like him a ton on Sunday. I’d like Heyward when Pollock gets a righty, I think.

12:32
Comment From Dan
Any chance the Blue Jays trade Jose Bautista, and if yes what would it take to get him?

12:33
Eno Sarris: Nope, they going to keep him for one more shot with this front office. I don’t think the BJs are that screwed. If Stroman gets one more partner at front of rotation (Norris or Sanchez), it’s a decent rotation. And with Rasmus and Janssen gone, they have $10-15m to spend on a 2b/3b. A good year from Lawrie makes the lineup deeper… there’s a chance here for something like the O’s this year.

12:33
Comment From JBD
Mookie Betts playing 2B these days?

12:33
Eno Sarris: Good for keeper because he’ll have 2b eligibility, but bad that he’s being moved around, might mean he’s util guy next year.

12:33
Comment From Chris Sale Hater
So Chris Sale is not an elite pitcher right?

12:34
Eno Sarris: Uh?

12:34
Comment From Marty
Woah, we have another Marty?! This is crazy-pants.

12:35
Comment From John
What moves do you think the Braves will make in the offseason? Such a disappointing year that you have to think they’ll make some major changes.

12:35
Eno Sarris: Try to sell Upton, consider selling one of Heyward Upton, might end up just cutting some dead weight and making moves around the edges because they think they can get back to 96 with a healthier rotation.

12:35
Comment From Addisu
I’m bitter about your late season surge in our league Eno. That’s really why I came here. I’m just bitter.

12:36
Eno Sarris: Sorry bro.

12:36
Comment From Guest
looking over Gausman’s game log, strikeouts seem to be trending up… encouraging?

12:36
Eno Sarris: Zimmerman surprised me with his dislike of Gausman. I’ve seen a pretty good splitter, but he didn’t believe. I know there are flaws (straight fastball, nibbling, bad slider), but I still have hope for him.

It’s been too long since you’ve gotten a good nonfiction book recommendation in the chat. Check out Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons by Sam Kean when the offseason hits. Cheers.

Comment From Marty – The Original
People probably asked you last year at this time who MAY breakout in 2014…do you remember who you said?

12:38
Eno Sarris: I was all over Carrasco, Richards, Arrieta, Skaggs, Duffy… nailed pitching this year.

12:38
Comment From Brad
I saw in Dave’s chat that Kiley is going to chat on Fridays. Please tell me Nick will still be chatting on Mondays.

12:38

I liked Brian Kenny’s “kill the win” campaign. What stat should next be singled out for destruction?

12:39
Eno Sarris: The save?

12:39
Comment From Marty – The Original
I find it annoying that the wild card games are not on the same day. That was a fun time…doubleheader with such high stake implications.

12:39
Eno Sarris: We might get one of those epic last days of the season!

12:39
Comment From A Whole Other Natitude
I have never brought myself to watch the G. Stanton hit-in-face pitch. It’s really bad, right?

12:39
Eno Sarris: I haven’t watched any of the gore videos from this year. I just don’t want it in there.

12:40
Comment From Gila Monster
We use K:BB ration. It is great,. It kinda makes you place more value on relievers and guys like Phil Hughes who doesn’t strike out a ton of guys, but doesn’t walk people.

12:40
Comment From Reginald Denton III
If the A’s miss the playoffs, will Billy Beane quit baseball?

12:40
Eno Sarris: Might make him hungrier.

12:40
Comment From The Oriole Bird
Two more bombs for Steve Pearce last night. What’s up with that dude?

12:41
Eno Sarris: Dude is gearing up for fastballs, makes me itchy watching it. Basically not worrying about other types of pitches.

12:41
Comment From Rainier
Hey, is my team’s prospect pretty much like one of the best batters at that position ever? Just checking, thanks!

12:41
Comment From Guest
Why did people think that chris sale and alex wood were destined for the bullpen? was it just their motions?

12:41
Eno Sarris: Yeah, although it’s also wrapped up in the ability to retain velocity with those mechanics. So far so good.

12:41
Comment From Guest
Is Stephen Vogt for real? Worth keeping for next year? Seems to have hit well at every stop in the minors.

12:42
Eno Sarris: I like the contact rate with a little power. And Jaso is a free agent, I think. Could happen, but then I’d probably put a bit more money on Norris catching more.

12:42
Comment From Dan
Holy crap that’s amazing, I am gonna go look up Javier Baez’s strikeout rate right now

12:42
Eno Sarris: Darwin Barney said “they’re going to strike out like half the time” when I asked him about the young Cubs.

12:43
Comment From neal
so what is drew smyly, now, in reality?

12:43
Eno Sarris: A good pitcher without great velocity. Has some rise. Good command. Cutter/Curve makes up for lack of good change. Some upside in change. Not a fantasy 1, maybe not a fantasy two either.

12:43
Comment From Kramah
Numbers say that 2-3 of the Cubs super-prospects are going to bust, who do you guess they are going to be?

12:44
Eno Sarris: Okay I’m going to duck after I say this. Javier Baez. That K rate and approach at the plate. Maybe Almora. I know he’s smooth and all that, but if he’s no better than a DeJesus, he might be a bust.

12:44
Comment From Nuke Laloosh
Not doubting what you said, but based on what Betts is doing now, how could they not have him as big part?

12:45
Eno Sarris: Trade could be coming. And Craig… still seems early to call him a dropper.

12:46
Comment From Nuke Laloosh
Last keeper: Buxton, Sano, Taveras. Keep forever

12:47
Eno Sarris: Damn dude. Buxton? Was consensus number on prospect. Should tell you what’s up next year some time.

12:47
Comment From Vic Romano
In a league where we keep players forever without cost, would I be completely insane to let old guys whose best years are behind them like Braun, Ellsbury, Wainwright, Hamels go back into the draft and keep young high-upside unproven guys like Bogearts, Bryant, Soler, Pederson?

12:48
Eno Sarris: For most of those names I say keep the bird in hand. But Waino makes me pause. Older pitchers… you never know when the wheels come off.

12:48
Comment From Jake deBomb
gun to head, who do Mets add at SS (assuming they do)? and OF corner?

12:49
Eno Sarris: Do what they can to sell Colon and Murphy to buy a corner OF with that money. Fudge it at SS, maybe with Flores. Amazingly. And someone asked why the Mets would sell Murphy, it’s because he’ll cost $10 million next year, and Dilson could get pretty close maybe and be way cheaper.

12:49
Comment From Dave
predict polanco’s slash line next year

12:50
Eno Sarris: .270/.330/.420. More bullish than projections. 15/30 hr/sb.

12:50
Comment From Wayne
who would command a higher return in trade, Tulo or Stanton?

12:50
Eno Sarris: Stanton, not owed as much, not as much injury history, cheaper.

12:50
Comment From Seth Smith
Are Mauer and Carpenter worth holding onto in a 12 team dynasty league, 30 man rosters, keep all players? I need a catcher and 2b now for next year. Odor is still available, susac, d norris, are available. As well as some other good options. Might be smarter to just hold them and trade them next year though?

12:51
Eno Sarris: Mauer probably not a catcher next year, but don’t sell low. Odor doesn’t have a spot really. I’d be staring a hole into Norris though.

12:51
Comment From sgtjunior
Best SP AL only for next year in order: TJ House, C. Rasmus, N Tropeano, D. Norris – i get 2, which ones?

12:52
Eno Sarris: House should be on my bad fastball, good mix list. Rasmus has many pitches and more velocity, less secure spot. I take Norris and House.

12:52
Comment From Will
Do you expect Pap to jump back into closer role for the last few games when reinstated?

12:52
Eno Sarris: Sure.

How do I break up with my girlfriend of 3 years on her birthday without being an ass? I’ve been trying to for the past two weeks but she has been “too busy”(hence why) and the only day I know I am going to see her is on her birthday.

12:53
Eno Sarris: Do something you’ll enjoy on her birthday haha, like take her to a game. Then make definitive plans somewhere in semi-public the day/ couple days after.

12:53
Comment From Vince
House at Twins or McHugh vs Seattle this weekend for all the marbles? Twins decent vs lefties, McHugh home vs Iwakuma. Thanks

Eno Sarris: McHugh way safer.

On a scale where Chief Wahoo is 100% racist, how racist is the Tomahawk Chop?

Eno Sarris: Gotta be Choo.

Comment From Guest
Does Shoemaker’s oblique injury scare you for next year? Do you think he makes the rotation again? And what would you project him for?

12:57
Eno Sarris: Definitely in rotation. I’d give him mid-to-upper threes ERA, 8k9, makes him a midrotation guy in fantasy these days.

12:57
Comment From Matt

can you try answering the question next time?! WHO do you think the Mets end up adding as OF corner and SS? Names please.

1:04
Eno Sarris: They are not going to add a shortstop, is what I said. As for names, can’t see it being Cruz, and only a maybe on Melky… I don’t think their pick will be protected so Melky will cost them there. So it could be a Gomes/Willingham platoon. Cuddyer is the best ‘name’ that might be possible, but he’s a bit old.

Where I got my HS diploma from, we were called the Indian Valley Warriors, before that it was called Kishacoquillas High School after a former chief in the area, and we did the tomahawk chop and all of that and of course the whole area was of course built on land once occupied by native populations before white settlers drove them off. Now we’re the Mifflin County Huskies. Cobb County, where Atlanta’s new stadium is going to be built, is former Cherokee territory. If my redneck hill-country high school can do the right thing, why can’t Atlanta?

can’t believe you haven’t speculated a little more on possibilities for the 2015 Mets…

1:10
Eno Sarris: Do you come here often? Practically every week I argue with someone over this. I love their rotation. They’ve had a 92 wrC+ over the last month. If they can push it to 95-98, they can make that pitching work. So they need an incremental upgrade in LF most of all, and power. I just don’t like Cuddyer’s possible asking price, and if they can’t sell Colon and/or Murphy for cost savings, they won’t have much money and it really will be just Willingham.

I want robot umps, but with a wicked twist. There are 10 possible configurations of the strike zone (none are crazy–they’re all just slight variations on the normal). At the beginning of every game, a randomizer selects which of the 10 strike zones will be called for the game… but the teams aren’t actually told which strike zone it is. Also, pass the bong.

Who are the odd men out in the Mets wealth of SP depth, and who do they get traded for?

If Phil Hughes had gotten more lucky on his BABIP luck this year, he would’ve been the top pitcher in WAR in the AL. That’s insane.

why is Sandoval deal scary? He’s 28.

Been sort of a rollercoaster for Davey Price since coming to Detroit. Still good FIP/SIERRAs. Is this randomness (like all things in this life) or something more nefarious like non-Tampa defense or Avila’s playcalling?

Basketball may not have soccer’s international presence, but it has a larger and broader international presence than any other major US sport including ice hockey. I’m certain I would dislike just about any hitter-for-pitcher deal the Cubs made with the Mets. It’s a pitching rich environment in baseball right now, which makes the hitters in the Cubs system even more valuable. Far better to throw money at FA pitchers than to throw hitters around in trades.

1:33
Eno Sarris: Which is why it won’t happen. But I don’t see a Tulo or Stanton deal happening either, so I think it’ll be smaller cost-savings deals happening than Thor leaving NY.

1:39
Eno Sarris: You generally improve your K rate until about 25/26. So that’s the pro-Baez argument. I’m just worried that the plate approach is so bad that it won’t matter. Then again, if Chris Davis actually could play D, it might not have taken him so long to get a chance.

Eno Sarris: I think stars are keepable up into 60-70 bucks if your team is competitive. I had Strasburg at 53 this year just to make a run. Came up short at fourth, dropping him and get to spend at auction to get the team over the top.

Ah, I misremebered. I’ve got Kershaw, Abreu, Rendon, and J.Upton pretty much locked in as 4 of my 10 keepers, debating on the Old Vs. Young thing for the other 6. I’ve got a Bogearts, Betts, Bryant, Soler, Pederson, and Buxton group…or a Braun, Ellsbury, Reyes, Waino, Hamels, Arrieta group.
