I can’t believe Morse went from being a good hitting shortstop, to injury prone, to poor defensive OF/1B masher. There has to be more to this story, I’d like to think you’d move a guy like him to 3B and it would work, how does a SS lose so much defensive value so quick, all while becoming a better slugger. There’s some answer besides “getting fat.”
