I think Dave is one of the premiere baseball analysts.
But the AJ Preller bashing in this podcast might be a bit premature. Both Preller and Logan White were both brought in to build the Padres from the ground up. It will be a long process and one that can’t be judged by evaluating one trade. Preller was in charge of the Rangers scouting amateurs (mainly int’l, which they’ve been very successful at), not signing Shin Soo Choo.
