I just wanted to say that the DC meetup was great, definitely worth it and I’ll be back next year if it happens again.
The meetup was awesome. Love walking into a space and knowing that everyone there shares a major interest. Please do more (Seattle, maybe?).
Its amazing that in print Dave is such an elitist. On audio he just sounds awkward, and at the meetup he was nothing like he is in person. He routinely bashes fans intellect saying they don’t understand this, or can’t comprehend that. Weird how much his personality changes when he’s with fans in person instead of talking down to them in print.
At the meetup he was nothing like he is during chats, I should say.
At this point, should we assume Dave is incapable of pronouncing Samardzija correctly, or that he just refuses to?
