FanGraphs Audio: Dave Cameron on All General Managers
Episode 591
Dave Cameron is both (a) the managing editor of FanGraphs and (b) the guest on this particular edition of FanGraphs Audio, during which edition he discusses the dismissal by the Seattle Mariners of general manager Jack Zduriencik, certain comments by Dodgers general manager Andrew Friedman regarding defensive metrics, and the interaction inside a person between team allegiance and the analytical impulse.
This edition of the program is sponsored by Draft, the first truly mobile fantasy sports app. Compete directly against idiot host Carson Cistulli by clicking here.

Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
I don’t need to hear about Cameron being in a prostate position
What I hear you saying is you’d prefer photographic evidence of it, instead.
I’ll leave it to the discretion of the progr’m’s host, but I blame Cameron’s existence for the declining use of the word:

Here’s what I wonder… what company would agree to sponsor the periodic Dayn Perry edition of the program? Perhaps Banknotes Harper’s Quality Conference Tables – For Pounding.
Speaking of which, we are overdue for a Dayn episode. The people demand to be disappointed and reminded of their futility.
WE DEMAND DAYN PERRY
Or Jeff Sullivan, there is little difference
Bring back Petriello so Carson can ask Statcast questions.
I’d rather listen to an episode of Carson interviewing his dog.
That could turn out to be rough.
I say bring back Notgraphs – judging by the numbers of comments on Techgraphs articles, it’s not exactly bringing in the big pageviews (although I presume it’s all sponsored content and is bringing the site $$$).
