FYI, you actually can watch recent episodes of Brooklyn 99 via Hulu. Agree 100% that being interrupted by 45 seconds of commercials several times while watching an episode or movie is extremely annoying.
Sorry for this unrelated comment – I could not figure out where to pose this question. Has anyone correlated Spring Training success with regular season success? I am sure someone has studied this. Should I be worried if the Red Sox perform poorly in Spring Training?
No, there is no predictive value to spring training statistics for the regular season performance.
However given that you are a Red Sox fan, you absolutely should be worried and ready to jump off a bridge over spring training results. That is your birthright, and your obligation.
That is funny. Thanks for the reply. But my observation over the years is that spring training team W-L records do not correlate well with regular season W-L records. So, if a team has a losing record in spring training, they have as much chance to win the World Series as a team that had a good winning record. Correct?
