This comment makes me pre-miserable about having decided to listen to this podcast.
I don’t understand why Dave says that a Saturday release of a podcast wouldn’t get listeners. I imagine many listeners are like me and just subscribe on iTunes where it doesn’t much matter when the podcast comes out. And I’d think people would generally have more time on the weekends to investigate baseball stuff like FanGraphs posts and podcasts. (Never understood the rationale behind not posting articles on the weekends, either.)
I too would prefer if the squeaking stops, but I mostly mind how Dave seems to think that it’s somehow unavoidable or not distracting. I’d rather he be blatantly disrespectful to Cistulli and admit it’s because he doesn’t care about the podcast (which is fine, and a little funny) than make excuses.
