Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
I hope there is more baseball in the next podcast.
Ok, so the podcast is approximately 33 minutes.
Cameron and Cistulli spends the first 10 minutes discussing a car buy.
Then they proceed to talk about Cameron’s article about top trade valued players.
Then, they’re done.
What, no Brady Aiken? No Hall of fame? No discussion about the past weeks trades.
Why make a claim to cover all of baseball when you’re not even close to doing it.
The Brady Aiken situation is one that is very prevalent.
I have to rate this podcast episode as an F.
Next time, perhaps spend a little time discussing some of the current events in baseball rather than trying to hard to make “smart” off the cuff banter.
Yea right? I mean if only there were other places on Fangraphs to read about Brady Aiken.

Hey Based Ball,
Neither the podcast or the article with Petriello discusses the latest actions in the Aiken affair.
Both were done before the deadline.
So your point is pretty much moot.
Thing is, there weren’t only the Aiken story that were amiss in this podcast.
And I don’t mind if Cistulli and Cameron spends most of one podcast on a particular big topic. But here they’re talking about a new car which has nothing to do with baseball and is at best some cheesy attempt at doing off the cuff banter.
Maybe I worded it a bit hard, but I am trying to offer constructive criticism.
My suggestion is to try to be more focused on the main stories in baseball the past week.
And less focused on personal matters.
And Cistulli is saying “Spanish flea, herb Alpert and the Tijuana brass”
Why he’s trying to say it as mumbling as possible I have no idea.
What does he start off each podcast saying? It sounds like “Tijuana brass” something
