FanGraphs Audio: Dayn Perry Is Sick and Awful
Episode 515
Dayn Perry is a contributor to CBS Sports’ Eye on Baseball and the author of three books — one of them not very miserable. He’s also the very ill guest on this edition of FanGraphs Audio.

Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
Perfunctory.
Dayn Perry: International Man of Misery
I spend many nights tossing and turning in bed wondering what Carson and his guest talk about when he asks them to stick around after the pod is over
Carson you missed the perfect time to drop the classic KFC urban FACT. The reason why KFC goes by its current name and no longer by “Kentucky Fried Chicken,” is because legally they cannot call what they serve “chicken” per se, as it has been genetically modified to the point where it is now a new species that scientists call “animal 57.”
Taco Bell also uses meat from animal 57. Animal 57 is something like a giant lump of chicken breasts suspended in an aqueous solution that “eats” from some type of feeding tube that goes directly into its stomach and it doesn’t even have a head. I was made aware of this situation by an activist leaflet passed out at a political ska show in the late 1990s.
This animal 57 business is disgusting. We must peaceful protest the shit out of taco bell/kfc for this outrage against nature.
This is all 100% true.
Upvoted for “political ska show”.
Three and a half minutes into this thing I’m already grossed out by Cistulli.
I can never retrieve the 30 minutes I spent listening. It’s amazing what people think is funny, particularly when they are saying it. Yeeeeech!!!
Poumon de poulet is a no laughing matter.
Well that was pointless.
All of life is pointless
Can’t wait to hear this on my ride home for the holidays. It’ll be a very Perry Christmas indeed!
Pollo Polmone!
Bravo, gentlemen. I giggled. Not too proud to admit it.
