Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
I predict the most listened to FanGraphs’ Audio ever
He has been on the podcast before.
And don’t get me wrong – it was really good. I’m sure this will be too. I’m actively looking forward to listening to it!
I assure you this was not my idea, but boy was I ever happy to play along.
Don’t worry, Carson gets that a lot.
Volcanoes are for girls.
The problem with these is that I ALWAYS get Herb Alpert stuck in my head afterwards.
I think I’ve misused the word “problem”.
Why don’t you take your big head and shove it up a lava lake?
That might not have the desired effect…
I’ll listen to this later as I’m at work, but I guess it’s good to like volcanoes if you’re a Mariners fan. Let’s just say that Citi Field does not sit a mere 50 miles from a 14,000′ volcano like Safeco does.
This was really enjoyable, and Jeff Sullivan is a swell fellow who I’m sure gives great hugs and all, but please don’t tell me this is replacing the weekly Dayn Perry debacle.
I would never have considered listening to 40 minutes of volcano speak, but because of Fangraphs audio I listened, and was delighted beyond measure. Thank you Carson and Jeff.
I remember a geographer fan of Mariners, who wrote many great articles at old Baseball Primer site. His name is Dan Werr. I still remember some of his articles about geography and baseball, and that was 9 years ago.
