In regards to Kiley’s concerns about the entertainment value of this particular podcast, I would give it about a 60. With other episodes fluctuating between a 65-70.

Instead of answering “What is college baseball?” I’d rather him answer “What is love?”

Also, whether scouting helps us get more out of now?

Regarding Koufax, he went to University of Cincinnati as a basketball recruit. As the story goes, the baseball team was slated to play a road game in New Orleans, and wanting to visit that city, Koufax tried out for the team and flashed incredible potential. He played only that one collegiate season before signing.

I, too, live in Squirrel Hill, and I can corroborate Kiley’s assertions that a) there are copious people of of the Jewish persuasion, and b) “Gluuteny” is indeed frequented by weird people.

This podcast was great. I live in Tallahassee and have been fortunate to see some great players in my time here. Buster Posey, Tyler Holt, James Ramsey, Devon Travis, Andy Dirks, Michael Wacha, Carlos Rodon, Mike Zuninno, Buck Farmer, and others. Also, Chipola College is named for a river that runs through Marianna, Florida.
