Hope Dave’s cold wasn’t brought on by either (a) traumatic fatigue from the epic 2013 Hot Stove season or (b) failure to blink frequently enough to properly push germs safely down the front of the eyes through the tear ducts to the front of the sinus cavity (aka the nose).
