It’s a shame Matt didn’t have time to call Dave on his largely innaccurate panning of the Giants’ offense.

Compare the triple slash for the Phils and Giants in the NLDS:
Philly: .212/.301/.295
SF: .212/.288/.273

The Giants starting 8 also measures up to the Phils in terms of total offensive WAR for 2010 (injures to Phillies regulars balanced by Giants’ midseason pickups/callups).

Finally, Dave says the Giants scored 8 runs in 4 games. They scored 11.

Dave, my only problem with your argument is that it isn’t true.
