What more is there to say about Yuniesky Betancourt? How about his peculiar August splits? He becomes a different player in late July – August. It’s the strangest thing, but it’s a career long pattern and it looks like it’s happening again this season. That and his semi-successful move to first base will likely garner him yet another major league contract in 2014, despite likely finishing the year with a negative season fWAR. Strange, but true.
