He’s not gonna hit 500 HR, and he’s got a .256, .338, .488 line for his career. That line will probably continue to go south the longer he plays. I think he’ll be borderline when all is said and done.

Is Dave saying the White Sox are a bad organization? Chicago Mark disagrees. The White Sox have a very good organization. Ozzie might be trouble but he has control of that locker room and Williams can usually get the extra bat/arm needed for a run. Plus some fairly good home grown talent.

Kenny has been in charge for about 10 years now. THe Sox have consistantly been in the top 2 in spending in the division. The AL Central hasnt exactly been a powerhouse during this time. And yet out of 10 years, they’ve only made the postseason what, twice?

So Dave thinks Ruben is a top 5 bottom GM? That’s a ridiculous statement. Not saying he’s top 5, but his in season trades and below market signing of Halladay all while maintaining a top 10 farm have to make him at least a top 15 guy, no?

Sorry Mister Rob and Dave. I just don’t think the Sox are a bad organization. I think all teams try to improve on weak spots from previous years. AND in Chicago, one World Series is good forever!!! Although that’s pretty sad.
