Another pet peeve. Pitching (and I suppose defense should always be part of that half of the equation) represents some huge number like 90% of the game. Then when a team is built to pitch and defend like Seattle was pre-2010, their 3-4 hitters are a joke and they can’t win. This by the same boobs who profess hitting to be only 10% of the equation? I assume I am preaching to the choir but why do they not get called on this stuff. And why do pitchers not occupy the first 20 spots in the MVP if they are so crucial?

Wish I’d been here for the chat, because I would have submitted the Todd Hundley experiment as a worse attempt at playing the outfield than what Huff is doing.

“As long as they’re throwing strikes, he’ll swing.”
Okay great. I have not heard that enough I guess.

Q: If they are strikes, why wouldn’t he?
