Back from New York, I’ll be chatting about the event this past weekend and baseball in general.
Dave is the Managing Editor of FanGraphs.

So a premier sabremetric writer is using a 27 inning sample size to prove he was right about Dan Haren? If that’s the case, I’m going to assume the dip in K rate points to his stuff not playing well in the AL.
“The internet has become a race to see who can be the snarkiest”
Oh boo hoo. Because Dave Cameron is never snarky, right? Look, the org rankings are essentially predictions, and predictions can make anyone look silly. But at least own up to it after the fact. It wouldn’t be a meme if so many people hadn’t called you out on it in the beginning, it’s not like this is second guessing.
I also think many people would love to reasonably discuss the thought process that led Dave to make what appears to be a huge mistake. Sure, some people would continue to be dicks and spout off about #6org, but that’s not a legitimate reason for ignoring it entirely. Just ignore those people and discuss it with the interested rational people.
And the word is “parity”, for goodness sake.
Blackberry/Droid app. Please.
Dave Cameron is the #6 thin-skinned blogger in baseball. Suck it up buttercup.
I attented the NYC event and i agree with David about the time. It would have been nice to mingle around and talk after. Couldnt make the afterparty.
And next time in NY, twitter nametags!
