how do you guys keep Fan Graphs running? There’s a ton of free, quality content here, yet the user experience is never hampered by a ton of advertisements. Frankly, I’m impressed (and kind of amazed); keep up the good work!

Appelman is an international man of mystery and wealth. He lives in a luxurious complex beneath a volcano on a tropical island, surrounded by armed minions in white uniforms riding monorails and beautiful women lounging in fetching 60’s gowns, where he watches all baseball games simultaneously on a vast array of video screens while stroking a white Persian cat.
David Appelman, in other words, is Bud Selig.
