FYI if you haven’t listened to Jonah Keri’s podcast with Scott Boras it is fantastic:

I’ve not been a Boras fan… though I was raised (and remain) staunchly pro-labor. That podcast was really interesting. Thanks for posting the link.

I never thought I’d feel this way, but I’m envious of the person that gets this job. Seems like Boras Corp would be an awesome place to work.

But… gotta disagree about his data driven comp with Wieters:Fisk. BBREF top 10 most similar catchers to Wieters thru age 30:

Jody Davis (971.9)
Ramon Hernandez (958.2)
Miguel Montero (958.2)
Charles Johnson (948.3)
Rich Gedman (935.0)
John Buck (934.6)
Earl Battey (931.7)
Jonathan Lucroy (930.2)
Michael Barrett (929.3)
Jarrod Saltalamacchia (928.4)

No Fisk on that list. And thats a Bill James similarity score (data driven).

Yeah, in general it made me really respect the man quite a bit. He was a fascinating interview to say the least.
