Statcast “x” Stats Now on the Leaderboards
Over the past week, we’ve added xBA, xSLG, xwOBA and xERA to our player pages. Now these Statcast stats are on the leaderboards, too!
One important thing to note is that these stats are only available as full-season for the time being. That means there are a number of instances where they will be blank to avoid presenting inaccurate data. Here are the main cases for which these stats will not display:
- If a player changes teams mid-season, and you want to see these stats for his time with only one of his teams.
- If a pitchers pitches as both a starter and reliever, and you want to see these stats for his innings or games in only one of those roles.
- Anything that isn’t player-specific, such as team totals or league totals.
- Multi-season aggregates.

Is there any way to extract the underlying stats that go into xSLG, xwOBA, etc.? Like the x1B, xHR, etc?
Awesome, great to see that included.
If you’re looking for another project, one that I think would be very useful would be allowing the auction calculator to do a 600 PA projection for all projection systems, not just steamer. Additionally, it would be cool if we could mix/match the rate stats and PA projections for each system.
What about xBABIP? I would love to see that.
Thanks for this great addition to the leaderboards. Any chance of adding the differential, as is done with ERA and FIP (E-F)? ie. SLG-xSLG.
Great. Pls add capability to see splits vL, vR.
Thank you for everything that you do. Any chance sabersim/daily projections will be back for the season on fangraphs?
Thank you! Except that I see the categories, but they’re not populating (?). The xAVG and xSLG columns are completely blank in my custom reports.
Q: Possible to have on “fantasy leaders” (www.fangraphs.com/fantasyleaders.aspx?) and/or filter the regular leader board (www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?) by ottoneu FAs (adding &fl=482 does not work)?
