Why is this a video?
I was just going to post the same thing. (I teach multimedia journalism at the university level.)
It’s ridiculous that this is a video.
It was posted to their Facebook it looks like. Videos get a lot of hits on Facebook. Instead of making a post and linking to it on Facebook, they just did the reverse.
This was probably original content made just for Facebook (never seen a video on this site) that they shared here.
Why is it a video on FB instead of a post? That’s another question but they felt this was better content for Facebook than the site (thus video over post).
I take more offense to the terrible marimba in the background than the fact that it’s a video.
Yeah, really.
But hey, maybe this will inspire MLB to start running video box scores, as part of their shrewd plan to reach a younger audience.
