re to your upscale soul food restaurant pick:
Next time you’re in St. Pete for a game, there is a similar place on Central Ave. near Fergs and the Trop called, Savannah’s Cafe. They have great buttermilk fried chicken along with a nice mix of Cajun (great crawfish-cake appetizer) and other popular regional dishes too. Their side dishes (my favorite part of southern food) are done nicely too, the only downside is slow service.
