James McDonald, what a lazy comp. Another black guy, what a surprise. How about actually giving us the closest pitcher you can think of instead of just automatically picking another pitcher with the same skin color?
Also, good job on elaborating why you don’t think a guy like Nick Goody doesn’t have a shot to be a solid MLB reliever…. I admit I have never seen him, but apparently he is 91-94, solid slider… Minor league numbers in 2012: 32 IP, 20 H, 1.12 ERA, 52 K/9 BB
If you’re going to say a guy like Goody, with by all accounts solid stuff and great small sample so far in the minors… will probably not make it to the show or succeed once he gets there, I suggest you elaborate on that
