Vegas set the over/under at 2.5 horrid calls. I’m feeling the under
Joyce was safe. The announcers seem oblivious to it, but you can see his hand on the base and Kinsler’s tag coming afterward. The ump assumed an earlier tag that didn’t occur.
Well, I’m a Baylor fan that just watched a crushing loss to Tech. Hopefully the Ranger’s won’t pull a “Rangers” and lose the game.
On an actual baseball note, the ump today is giving the strike at the knees today; haven’t seen that in games 1/2.
Rays half way to their hit quota for today…
The announcers saying that the shadows will impact the hitters – while it may impact the Rangers, how will you be able to tell if it impacts the Rays?

Dubya in the house. Saw a weird stat where the Rangers are something like 2-5 in games he’s attended.
TBS strikezone tracker is all kinds of money. Looks like some intern is just guessing where these balls actually landed.
I got a friend in Vegas…don’t know if this is true or not, but he tells me the money line on the Twins went from +125 to +180 after the umpire rotation for the ALDS was announced.
How nice for Yankee fan that Hunter Wendlestedt was on hand to ensure victory.

Wow, the Twins got robbed by that call. Unbelievable! Umps so poor all of a sudden.
Duenning’s going to have to figure out how to get the ball down… 5 flyballs and a line drive to the 1st 6 batters is not going to get him deep in the game.
This open thread should have been called “people wining about umpires.” Come on people these guys do such a great job and are right about 80% of the time. That seems good enough to me. Plus we get to keep the tradition of the game out of the robots control!
(A) Likely right much more than 80% of the time. One would hope to God. (B) Not just ‘wining [sic] about umpires’ but whining, even!

Balls and strikes would hopefully be more than 80. But still 80% on close calls is unacceptable.
Twins never cease to impress me in the playoffs.

This has nothing to do with postseason baseball but does anyone know where I can find teams money spent on international players?
