Because Bay City Ball fakes their stats. I’ve seen them do it. They hate Fred Lewis, too!
Because no one likes Cubs fans, even Cubs fans!
Lookout Landing is the classiest and most respectful SBN site. The mods are very fair and they have a great grammar policy in place to keep the place looking sparkling clean.

bleed cubbie blue, brew crew ball, or bay city ball?
as a Cubs fan I can honestly say that the frequenters of bleed cubbie blue are generally poorly informed, overly emotional, and dismissive of most sabermetrics and typify the blindly optimistic Cubs fan. It’s really an annoying blog to read, which is why I don’t.
This expressed opinion is and not in any way representative of Fangraphs, it’s contributors, staff, or readers. Any derision or scrutiny over my comments is welcome and should be directed towards me.
Cripes. I just visited over there for a while to check it out . . . I had forgotten how bad things can be. Sheesh.
That said, some of these criticisms — where most/many of the posters are too emotional and quick to judge, and either too optimistic or pessimistic — seem pretty much applicable to a great deal of the baseblogosphere (c).
Any good tips on a better Cubs blog to visit?

Next year, does quality of the respective SBNation blog factor into organizational rankings? I think it should. The Mets need all the help they can get.

SBNation blogs are all over the map. Some have a very friendly group of mods and members, while others not so much. I would have to say the Viva El Cardinals blog is the friendliest bunch. LL probably the least friendliest (though they have great content) with MCC a close second (though their self loathing can be witty at times).

Amazin Avenue is pretty awesome, though the Mets are not.
Royals Review, SouthSideSox, Amazing Avenue, Lone Star Ball. All very well-written with a strong commenter base.
This is (I assume) going to be great, but please try and keep FanGraphs simple, layout-wise. It is one of the (many) things I enjoy most about FanGraphs.
