Extreme choke job going on by the middle of the Tigers order…..actually make that the entire Tigers lineup.
Except for Don Kelly, the Playoff Wizard.
Sherzer elevates a pitch to Cruz and he hits a foul HR. Same at bat he elevates a pitch and Cruz ties the game.
Later at bat 1st pitch hangibg slider that Cruz fouls off. Later same at bat elevated pitch ends the game.
Either guys are missing their spots by a wide margin or they’re not picking up on in game cues.
Nelson Cruz likes pitches uo in the zone that he can pull.
Makes me wonder in the last at bat if pitcher was trying too hard not to bounce won and lose the game on a WP.
I think the issue is that Perry does not have very good command. I believe his ERA more than his FIP because he grooves a TON of pitches.
