For those of you just playing catch-up, here’s a rundown of the deals that were made before the deadline today.

Philadelphia Phillies send OF Hunter Pence to San Francisco for C Tommy Joseph, OF Nate Schierholtz, and RP Seth Rosin.

Philadelphia Phillies send OF Shane Victorino to Los Angeles Dodgers for RP Josh Lindblom and SP Ethan Martin.

Chicago Cubs send SP Ryan Dempster to the Texas Rangers for 3B Christian Villanueva and SP Kyle Hendricks.

Kansas City Royals send RP Jonathan Broxton to the Cincinnati Reds for SP J.C. Sulbaran and RP Donnie Joseph.

Miami Marlins send 1B Gaby Sanchez and RP Kyle Kaminska to the Pittsburgh Pirates for OF Gorkys Hernandez and a competitive balance pick in the 2013 draft.

Arizona Diamondbacks send RP Craig Breslow to the Boston Red Sox for RP Matt Albers and OF Scott Podsednik.

Miami Marlins send RP Edward Mujica to the St. Louis Cardinals for 3B Zack Cox.

New York Yankees send RP Chad Qualls to the Pittsburgh Pirates for 3B Casey McGehee.

Boston Red Sox send 1B Lars Anderson to the Cleveland Indians for SP Steven Wright.

A wRC+ of 125 in 533 PA in single A in his first taste of pro ball in 2007, then the next year he had a 144 wRC+ in 358 PA in A+, and 163 wRC+ in 163 PA at AA (also in 2008). Yeah, you got it buddy, I am a racist to have been psyched on Lars 2008. On a non-sacrcastic point, there is certainly one thing that all looks the same to me: moronic claims of unfounded racism.

Yeah, because apparently every Sox fan is John Perrault to you. One of us is racist, so we all are? Grouping people together because of 1 thing they share in common…there is some great “non-racist-like reasoning” if I ever saw some. Again,, I hope the sarcasm isn’t lost. Furthermore this has something to do with overrating Lars Anderson in 2008 after two solid minor league seasons, why?

Also, you might wanna read your own article:

“Talking about that guy, he actually called me a racial slur in the beginning of the game, so he was the only one I had a problem with. … People in Boston don’t even do that, so I don’t know what that was about,” Crawford said this month.

Do you guys really think citing assorted examples of people being racist in the Boston area is enough to label an entire city racist? There isn’t a place in the world that doesn’t have some form of racism every single day. I’m surprised you guys can reach the keyboard from your high horses.

Set aside the assertion that every Red Sox fan is racist – what does it have to do with the ranking of Lars Anderson? It’s not like every city rates their own prospects.

There are more appropriate forums to vent frustrations regarding Boston.

As someone who grew up in Boston, and now lives south of the Mason-Dixon line, I can say this:

If you think Boston is racist, you don’t know what racism is.

this is one of the dumber things ive seen on FG. boston is a city full of huge liberals…for the most part, they arent racist, and in fact, are the opposite. regardless, why would you come on here and post something like that? just to get people to respond with how dumb you are?…Get.
