Any known reason for Daric Barton’s drastic drop this early? I know it’s a small sample size, but 5 errors already?
You already answered your question. I want to draw conclusions too though… Chris Coghlan/Logan Morrison are due for a big downward slide, I would guess.

Small sample sizes are fun. Arizona 1st in bullpen xFIP so far, but 22nd in team UZR.
Weekly updates for a stat that takes 3 years to be meaningful?
Takes 1 to 1 1/2 year for offensive stats to be meaningful. By meaningful we are talking about true talent level.
So a SSS for offensive stats, say 1 week says a little about how a player is hitting over 1 week (boy is Jed Lowrie hot)
Why not for defense and UZR?
