We’ve Added NPB Data to the Site!
We now have NPB data available on FanGraphs! It can found on the player pages and the leaderboards.
A few notes on NPB data:
- All NPB data is provided by Sports Info Solutions and is available going back to 2018.
- We update NPB (and KBO) data around 11:30 ET each night with the previous days games.
- wRC+, ERA-, and FIP-, are park adjusted using five-year park factors.
Speaking of park adjustments, MiLB and KBO wRC+, ERA-, and FIP- are now also park adjusted using five-year park factors. You can read more about how our park factors are calculated here.
Please be aware that the additional leagues we’ve added to the site this offseason (NPB and Division-I college data) do not come to us without expense. All of our data is licensed from various data providers or sourced in-house. While this increases the site’s cost of doing business, it allows us to provide a consistent data product to our readers without interruptions.
If you enjoy our work and the numerous new features that we’ve added to the site this offseason, please consider becoming a FanGraphs Member. It keeps the lights on, and allows us to continue to add new features and voices to FanGraphs.

Hell yeah, this is awesome
I’m certain that this would delight me if I knew what NPB means.
Many thanks!
I hope someone see this question to a day olds post, but could you clarify if the use of MiLB park factors goes back in time? I know Dan mentioned in his chat that he has minor league park factors going back to 199x or something. It would be great to know if the wRC+ is park adjusted in a given interval of years so that we would know when we are making historical apples to apples comparisons. Thanks.
We are using park adjustments for all years of MiLB data on the site (2006-current).
Thanks for the reply.
