Win Probability Graphs Update!
The Win Probability Graphs on the site were updated last night. They’ve been made interactive, so you can scroll over any point to find out the play, score, and win probability of the situation.
If you’re a blogger, you can now easily embed the charts into posts when you click on the little arrow button in the right hand corner of the graph:

The “Embed Code (Static)” will give you a non-changing version of the chart, but if you use the non static version, the graph will be updated automatically as the game progresses.

I have a random question though (very grateful for all you’ve added so far, but), when will certain stats, such as FIP- and xFIP- be added to career leaderboards?
You can just select 1871 – 2011 on the actual leaderboards. It will be a little slow, but it will get you what you’re looking for. I will probably make “career” an option on the leaderboards fairly soon and get rid of the specific career leaderboards in the future.

Great stuff, but there is a slight bug. If you scroll in the leverage index area and your cursor is over the red bar (i.e. the highest leverage), no pop-up appears as to what is the play.

A very small issue – the tooltip is partially out of the frame (off to the right) for a few different plays.
This is a bug in the graphics package we use that is slated to be fixed in the next release. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next couple months, but unfortunately it’s out of my hands.
Beautiful. The site could be literally just these WPA graphs and still be worth visiting daily.
