I’m just excited I get to watch the greats like Alex Avila and C.J. Wilson duke it out! What are the odds that future minor leaguer Mitch Moreland gets a base hit off of future minor leaguer Joachim Benoit??!?!

I’ll try to but I’d rather watch the crazy at bat that Ian Kinsler is going to have with Doug Fister! The drama, The highlights, the feel of mid-season baseball!

Yeah, nothing says exciting like watching the Yankees in October for the ten thousandth consecutive postseason. Go watch football.

Go Tigers! Baseball is a funny game sometimes…Yankees clearly outperformed the Tigers, but Tigers got it done…thank you, small sample size.

Seriously though, all remaining NL teams are WAY more exciting than the AL teams. I’ll start watching again around the world series…

Yeah…the Cardinals are thrilling to watch.

If PHL loses, then this is a really interesting SEP/OCT for teams in the East.

Kinda reminds me of the years of March Madness where a conf like the Big 10 orr Big East will get 9 teams in the dance but none make the Fibal 4.

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t StL have 3 probable HoFs in their lineup?

Granted the team is morw impressive with Wainwright.

I can’t shake the idea that Allen Craig is going to do something big and get his name out there. Hopefully it’s something like Freese in game 4 and not like Holiday from 2009.

Yeah, that was a low blow…I’m still bitter about 2006. Each team in the playoffs is fairly interesting, in my opinion…the Rangers are clearly very dynamic top-to-bottom. Tigers have possibly the game’s best hitter and pitcher. Or the Cardinals might have the game’s best hitter, a great player in Holliday, and Duncan always gets the most of of his “gritty” pitching staff. Phillies were my pre-season pick to win it all, with possibly the best starting pitching staff ever assembled (has there been enough discussion about this?). Arizona is an exciting team, filled with power, speed and starting pitching, and with a revamped and effective bullpen. The Brewers are probably the wild card – two ridiculous hitters in the middle of the lineup, plus three excellent starting pitchers and a great bullpen…they could easily win it all if Greinke gets in a groove. I really like all the teams left.

And yes, I know that Bautista is the game’s best hitter.
