: You guys are late every week!
| 9:11 |
: How embarrassing that must be
| 9:11 |
: for you
| 9:12 |
: hello friends
| 9:12 |
: Hello, friend!
| 9:12 |

| 9:12 |
: Hello, friend!
| 9:12 |
: Hello friend
| 1:36 |
: this is p chill beginning for a no chill chat
| 12:01 |
: HOT DAMN WAS THAT A START LAST NIGHT OR WHAT?
| 12:01 |
: MAX POWER
| 12:01 |
: What are your thoughts on Bauer? is this the year he finally realizes his potential? or will his control issues keep him down.
| 12:01 |
: Best combo of movement and velocity from him in his career. Really consistent two-seam movement. Going to set career high in gB% and keep the homers down, if not the walks.
| 12:02 |
: What are some positive signs you’re looking for from Price in his start today?
| 12:02 |
: Alright, let’s do this.
| 12:02 |
: Cubs vs Red Sox World Series.
| 12:02 |
: Certainly possible. Probably even the most likely option at this point.
| 12:03 |
: But most likely WS match-up is still like a 100-1 shot or something.
| 12:03 |
: Having trouble finding the Trade Value series. What am I doing wrong? Also, when do we get new ones?
| 9:01 |
: Hi everybody!
| 9:01 |
: Let’s do this.
| 9:02 |
: Am I ownable in 12-team mixed leagues?
| 9:02 |
: Chatting from my back yard tonight. At least until the bugs run me off.
| 9:02 |
: I would say no.
| 9:02 |
: Probably not unless it is certain 2-start weeks
| 12:04 |
: chatty chat chat!
| 12:04 |
: The soundtrack is the new Radiohead record, A Moon Shaped Pool, which I cannot link, but you can (and should) acquire. It is blissful and flawless
| 12:04 |
: What’s wrong wi
| 12:04 |
: off to a good start!
| 12:06 |
: Shouldn’t the Nationals assume (or strongly suspect) that if Boras is willing to do an extension for Strasburg, there must be something wrong with his elbow that they don’t know about?
| 12:06 |
: I think this is something worth considering, but at the same time, Strasburg’s looked as good as ever lately, so it would be odd if *now* was the time when Boras felt the need to make that move
| 11:59 |
: Initiate communication.
| 11:59 |
: Happy Monday to all of you!
| 12:00 |
: Well, unless some of you are serial killers on the run or something, in which case I wish a less-than-happy Monday to you.
| 12:00 |
: Usual reminder: I will be saving any off-topic Qs for the Lightning ROund, but since I sometimes miss questions due to velocity, actually waiting until 1 PM for off-topic questions is a better strategy.
| 12:00 |
: What does Texas do about Prince? He’s owed so much money but his production is horrid and he’s far and away the worst offensive player on the team so far.
| 12:01 |
: What can they do other than sit him down? It’s not like anyone ought to want him.
| 9:09 |
: Hello friends
| 9:09 |
: Hello, friend!
| 9:09 |
: Hello friend
| 9:09 |
: Let’s baseball chat
| 9:09 |
: Can Trout trade the Angels?
| 9:10 |
: Have to examine the particulars of his contract but you have to think that the answer is yes
| 10:52 |
: Be here shortly! In the meantime
| 12:01 |
: challa!
| 12:01 |
: Are you worried about me?
| 12:01 |
: Look a little doughy, not doing well in the fifth, velocity dropping off, it’s hard to change fitness in the middle of the season, but I’m less worried about him than a guy like Keuchel at 88 mph.
| 12:02 |
: I think I know the answer to this q given your podcast/love of Nola, but here goes: trade Travis Shaw to get back Nola in a redraft?
| 12:02 |
: Shaw looks like a .260/20 type third baseman, which I like a little less than a strong fantasy #2.
| 12:02 |
: Back after a nice vacation last week, so let’s try to get two weeks worth of questions in today.
| 12:02 |
: As a miserable Atlanta fan, can you give me some hope? And when’s the earliest you could see this franchise back in the mix for a playoff spot?
| 12:03 |
: Have you seen what Swanson and Albies are doing in the minors? There’s a real chance that could be your starting middle infield next year, and those guys could represent a massive improvement from the disaster that Aybar/Peterson have been. Inciarte is still a nice player when he gets healthy, Freeman will bounce back. They are halfway to a decent lineup. The pitching stinks, so this will take a few years, but there are pieces in place.
| 12:03 |
: Is it time to give up on Schoop? All predictions had his breakout year coming – too soon to pull the plug?
| 12:04 |
: He is what he is; a powerful slugger with lousy command of the strike zone.
| 12:04 |
: Rockies fans have to be encouraged by Jon Gray so far, right?
| 12:05 |
: let’s do a chat!
| 12:06 |
: I wanted this week’s chat soundtrack to be the new Drake record, but unfortunately it’s horribly boring, so instead watch the new Radiohead video and then listen to a bunch of other Radiohead while you’re at it
| 12:07 |
: Hello, friend!
| 12:07 |
: Hi, Bork!
| 12:08 |
: Outside of a few bad pitches, Matt Moore has looked great so far this year. Think this is the year he finally puts it all together?
| 12:08 |
: I’ve never been a big Moore believer, but I touched upon him a bit in the Rays post I wrote last week. Everything he’s doing — velocity, movement, command — either looks exactly like rookie season Moore, or better
