Carsons question about analysts unionizing was not a silly one. The Entire point of a union is to restrict supply and drive wages above marginal value. That’s why we see unions in manufacturing, where it’s relatively easy to find a replacement for any given worker, and fewer unions in industries where it’s hard to replace workers, like doctors and lawyers.
