Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
I briefly misread the title as a FGA interview with Dave Dombrowski, rather than Dave Cameron about DD. The former would have been far more illuminating.
I think Dave needs an Eno Sarris pronunciation guide for the word “bagel”.
I’ve always pronounced it Bag-El….like he’s Superman’s long-lost cousin.
As a fan and native Michigander, my favorite transaction of DD’s tenure was the Granderson for Scherzer and Austin Jackson. I was hopeful and a bit terrified when it went down, but downright giddy after a couple of years 🙂
Also, Jered Weaver as another successful member of the “lots of fly balls, low BABIP, keep HR in control” club, no?
